There's something you should know

There’s something you should know.

Even though I have been working on preparing this course for more than a year, I almost didn’t publish it.

Why?

It’s for the simple reason that freelance writing is more difficult than ever right now. But everything is more difficult right now.

There are two main reasons for that: the global recession, and the rise of AI. It’s much more difficult to find work. And if you’re not going to put in your absolute best, it will be impossible for you. Even if you put in your ABSOLUTE best, it will be difficult still.

Why should you even bother to even learn to write then?

Firstly. If you learn to write, and understand how content marketing works, you can translate that skill into any other skill you want to learn. If you branch into UI/UX later and decide to be a UI/UX copywriter, your writing skills will be useful.

If you decide that you want to design websites in the future, you can always charge extra for writing for your clients. Writing is a skill that is useful in all fields.

Secondly. If you choose to become a writer and you become good at it, Ai cannot truly replace you. Because Ai today still needs someone to provide input and direction. If you master the craft of writing, clients will still need the services of a writer who knows what they’re doing to either rewrite, or edit Ai written content.

Ai has changed everything. But it won’t be able to replace writers. Or designers. At least, not yet.
